Here’s a quick tutorial that shows you how to install the new Opera 12.10 beta in Ubuntu 12.10 if you haven’t already installed it.

Remember, this is a beta release and not suitable for production systems. You may install it but you should expect to see some issues.

To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to download Opera 12.10 beta.

wget http://mirror.olnevhost.net/pub/opera/linux/1210b1/opera_12.10.1615_i386.deb

Next, run the commands below to install it.

sudo dpkg -i opera_12.10*

If the above commands fail to install it, immediately run the commands below to force the installation.

sudo apt-get install –f
