To give permissions on the Discord server, follow the step-by-step procedure given below.
Step 1: Launch the Discord App by typing Discord in the Startup Menu.
Step 2: Choose the server where you want to grant permissions to the members. Now click on the drop-down button as illustrated below:
Step 3: Click on the Server Settings to proceed further.
Step 4: From all the available categories, select the Roles category.
Step 6: Afterward, click on the Default Permissions Option.
Step 7: Now enable the permissions that you want to give to the server members. In our case, we have enabled the members to perform management roles. Now click on the Save Changes button and press the Esc key.
How to Grant Channel Permissions on Discord?
To grant channel permissions on Discord, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Choose the server and select the channel in which you want to grant permissions to members.
Step 2: Select the Edit Channel option as shown below:
Step 3: From all the available categories, select the Permissions category.
Step 4: In the advanced permissions option, select the permissions that you want to give to the channel members. In our case, we have enabled view and manage channel permissions for members. Click on the Save Changes and Press the Esc key to exit.
