Here’s quick tip that shows you how to make sure your Windows 8 computer doesn’t lock up after a certain period of time.

By default, your Windows 8 computer locks up when it is idled and not being used. To resume your work, you must first enter your password to unlock the screen. This brief tutorial is going to show you how to turn it off so your computer never locks.

To get started, press Windows Key + R to bring up the Run dialog box. Then type the commands below.

Next, scroll down to settings below:

Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Control Panel -> Personalization

Double-click on ‘Do not display the lock screen’ to open. When it opens, enable the feature.
