Here’s a quick tutorial that shows you how to install Unsettings in Ubuntu 12.10 if you haven’t ready done so.
A new version of this tool was just released and it comes with many enhancements and support for Ubuntu 12.10. If you don’t know what Unsettings is, it is a cool tool that lets you configure hidden settings in Ubuntu.
Using it, you can change the look and size of the launcher, show/hide indicator components, change fonts, and enable / disable desktop workspaces.

To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens run the commands below to add its PPA.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:diesch/testing
Finally, run the commands below to update your system and install Unsettings.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install unsettings
