Here’s a quick update for LibreOffice users; version 3.6 has just been released. This brief tutorial is going to show you how to easily install it or upgrade your current version in Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin).

- Install / Upgrade to LibreOffice 3.6 in Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin)
To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to add its PPA.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-prereleases
Finally, run the commands below to upgrade your system including LibreOffice.sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
