  1. At least I can get the System Settings back by right clicking the desktop and selecting Change Desktop Background”. I am finding 12.04 to be extremely buggy so far.

  2. @Ken, it actually delays in launching, but put the mouse at the extreme left of your screen a second time.

Then run the mouse up/down the extreme left side of the screen?

    It should come through.

I also think 12.04 is a bit slower in terms of graphics rendering…. but so far so good :-)

  3. @Centurion: It is pretty flaky with revealing itself. Sometimes it takes a second or third time, sometimes even more.
But I need to hide it because it catches my clicks when I’m in a virtual machine, which is pretty ridiculous.
I’m on 13.10, but things are not any better.

  4. Thank you very much, to get the launcher back in 14.04LTS all i have to do is to press the windows(now renamed to ubuntu)Key and it will open again, also ALT+TAB it’s very usseful to go throught your work ;)
