- Enjoy!
To get started, go to ‘Control Gear –> System Settings’
Enhance your coding experience with this split keyboard that offers up to 9" of separation.
Next, select ‘Appearance’
Then the Behavior tab and click the button to turn it on. You can also set the sensitivity level of the launcher from here as well.
Enjoy!
Invest in some screen real estate with a new big screen, backlit monitor availabe in five different sizes and price points.
Thanks a lot, real simple and a well done post.
I did that and now it won’t reveal at all.
At least I can get the System Settings back by right clicking the desktop and selecting Change Desktop Background”. I am finding 12.04 to be extremely buggy so far.
@Ken, it actually delays in launching, but put the mouse at the extreme left of your screen a second time.
Then run the mouse up/down the extreme left side of the screen?
It should come through.
I also think 12.04 is a bit slower in terms of graphics rendering…. but so far so good :-)
Helpful-thanks!
Always clear and precise posts to better use Ubuntu, thank you.
@Centurion: It is pretty flaky with revealing itself. Sometimes it takes a second or third time, sometimes even more.
But I need to hide it because it catches my clicks when I’m in a virtual machine, which is pretty ridiculous.
I’m on 13.10, but things are not any better.
Thank you very much, to get the launcher back in 14.04LTS all i have to do is to press the windows(now renamed to ubuntu)Key and it will open again, also ALT+TAB it’s very usseful to go throught your work ;)
