Ubuntu developers at Canonical have just released a second support release for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS for Desktop and Server products. The release added support to boot Ubuntu 12.04.2 on systems using UEFI firmware with secured boot enabled.

This update comes with the updated Linux kernel which includes a workaround for the UEFI boot panic on Samsung Series 9 laptops. This updated release will hopefully put that to rest.
