Skype has just released a fix for its software for multiple desktop clients, including Linux. This fix is designed to resolve the issues surrounding Skype crashing during IM sessions, and in some cases IM being delivered to a different contact.

So, if you’re experiencing these problems, whither in Windows or Linux, here’s the update for you to install. It applies to Windows, Mac and Linux clients. For more detailed release notes, click here.

Ubuntu users, click this link to download and open with Ubuntu Software Center, then install.

 

After installing, login.
