Variety is a wallpaper changer that we wrote about few months ago. It changes your desktop background automatically or on-demand based on your preferences. It can download images from Flickr, Wallpaper.net and NASA Astronomy Picture of the day.

To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to add its PPA.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:peterlevi/ppa
Finally, run the commands below to update your system and install Variety
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install variety
