This brief tutorial shows you how to install Google Talk Plugin in Ubuntu 11.10 if you haven’t already done so. Google Talk is a browser plugin that lets you voice and video chat with friends and family from your browser. Install this plugin and logon to Gmail with your webcam and microphone attached to your computer, then initiate a chat with a friend or family member. To get started, press Ctrl – Alt – T on your keyboard to open Terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to add Google Apps repository key.

Next, run the commands below to create a repository file
