As you may already know, Firefox 4 was released last week and if you’re still on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid or Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick, chances are you’re still running Firefox 3.6. This simple tutorial will show you how to easily upgrade or install Firefox 4 in Ubuntu if you haven’t already done so.
Getting started:
To get started, go to Applications –> Ubuntu Software Center.
Then select Edit –> Software Sources…
Next, select ‘Other Software’ tab click ‘Add’. Then type the line below into the box and click ‘Add Source’

Back into Software Center, search for and install Firefox . If Firefox 3.6 is already installed, go to System –> Administration –> Update Manager and Firefox 3.6 should get upgraded.
Enjoy!
Note: If you already have Firefox 3.6 installed, just go to System –> Administration –> Update Manager
