Disable/Enable Bluetooth at Startup in Ubuntu 10.04/10.10 Maverick Meerkat 5


This brief tutorial will show you how to disable or enable Bluetooth service at startup in Ubuntu. If you don’t want Bluetooth to startup everytime you login to Ubuntu, then this tutorial will show you how to turn if off. On the other hand, if you want Bluetooth service to automatically startup when you login to Ubuntu, then this tutorial will also show you how to enable it.

Getting started:

 

To get started, to go Applications –> Preferences –> Startup Applications.

 

disable_bluetooth_mav

 

Then un-check the box next to ‘Bluetooth Manager’ to disable it.

To enable it, check the box.

Restart and you’re done.
