Disable Auto Login in Ubuntu 10.04/10.10 Maverick Meerkat

This short tutorial will show you how to disable auto login in Ubuntu Lucid or Maverick. Whenever you installed Ubuntu, the default choice is to automatically login you in when you start your computer. If you want to disable that, then continue below.


Getting started:


To get started, go to System –> Administration –> Login Screen.




Next, click ‘Unlock’




Then select ‘Show the screen for choosing who will log in’ and click Close.
