Recover Deleted Files In Windows With Recuva

Accidentally deleted your files or folders in Windows and thinking it’s gone for good? Maybe not. With Recuva, it might just be possible to recover your deleted file, restore your Recycle Bin, Flash Card, and external drives for free.

The same folks who created Recuva also create CCleaner, another great Windows utility.

 

In this brief tutorial, I’ll show you just how to recover those files and folders you though were gone for good, and that you life is doomed.

 

To get started, download and install Recuva from here.

 

Click Run when prompted.

Continue with the installation.

Click Finish.

Click Next to begin recovering your data.

Select the type of data to recover.

Click Start to start scanning.

If the first scan didn’t return any result, you can click Yes to perform Deep Scan on your computer.

Check the box next to the file you want to restore, then click Recover.

 

Put a check mark in the box next to the file you which to restore, the click Recover.
