Free online storage to backup your important data automatically

1) Login to your account and configure other settings as you wish.

2) Download and install the client that will perform the backup process. Click here to download the client software. Click Run when prompted.

3) Click Next to continue. Accept the license agreement and continue.

4) Select the location to install. Next when the installation is complete, enter your username and password to connect to your account.

5) Create an encryption key (password). Keep this password save because you’ll need it when you want to restore files and folders.

6) IDrive Classic Panel. Here, you can configure automatic backup of files and folders. Documents and other folders are selected by default. To enable continuous backup,  client the button at the bottom right.

7) To refine the selection, expand the plus sign on the left of the folders to include more files and folders. It is important to select only critically important files and folders.

8) To restore files and folder, click on the Restore button and select the file or folder to restore.

When you’re done, click the x at the top to close the program. All your files and folders that are selected to be backed-up will automatically backup. You can always go back and add more files or folder as you wish.

 

Also, upgrading to more space can be done directly from the console panel.
