This brief tutorial will show you how to Citrix ICA Client in Ubuntu 10.04 and connect to Citrix Servers at your company or business. As you may already know, installing ICA Client on Windows is easy, but for Linux Systems, some steps are needed to make it work.
Getting Started:
The first thing is go here and filter down to Linux Client installers. Select Citrix XenApps –> Presentation Server 4.0 –> Linux –> Client and Plug-ins. Then click Linux Clients to download.
Select the .deb package installer and click Download
Use GDebi Packager Installer to install the package for you. Click OK to install.
Click Install Package
Enter your password and click OK.
Accept Citrix’s EULA and click Forward
Click Close, then close out
When try accessing and get this message, you need to install your company’s SSL provider certificate in the certificate store for your system. My company SSL provider is “Thawte”. If your SSL provider is Thawte, download the certificate from here.
Download and save the .zip file. Usually the download folder in your home directory and extract.
Press Alt-F2 on your keyboard and run the commands below to open your file browser and browse to where you downloaded and extracted the zip file.

Copy the select file into the directory below:
/usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts
Right-click to Copy
Use the up arrow button to navigate between folders. Move to /usr/lib/ICAClient/keystore/cacerts and copy the key there.
